Which to invest?

I was super excited yesterday.

I bought a book.

Actually I was contemplating on which book to buy from the Kinokuniya.
I almost walked out empty handed. But I changed my mine after walking a few steps away from the shelves.

I went to the shelves for two days before I made up my mind to get the book.
It’s a beading book in Japanese. Smart eh? There are illustrations for every design. So it won’t be a problem for me. Should I get the other book that I was contemplating too? Hmmm..very tempted to get it.

Cannot! Cannot! Must not get it yet. Hehehe.

Facebooking

I guess everyone knows bout Facebook. Ok ok..almost everyone.

You can add tons of applications and fiddle around for awhile before getting bored of them. I was once addicted to Facebook but I got over that phase. Used to have many applications but deleted them when I found it to be boring.

I just join a group name "Lish". It’s a lady selling her costume jewelleries. From necklaces to earrings to..thats all I think. >__< BLOODY expensive!!! I almost fainted when I saw the prices. But it’s really pretty!! I got to know this group from my sis. She also another kaki Facebook.

Hmmm..it does give me ideas to make some interesting costume jewelleries.^__^

Poem

Something I want to share with you all. Don't remember where I got it. ^__^

What do you want?
If you wanted the moon,
I sling a rope around it and pull it over your window,
If you wanted the sun,
I wear it a shades and park it by your pool side,
If you wanted the earth,
I would deliver it in silver platter.

So what do you think?

Cashmere Mafia

Last weekend I went back hometown. I was kejar-ing a new series. CASHMERE MAFIA! It’s not about any mafia or yakuza (I like this word-yakuza. There is this food outlet where I have to pass to my workplace everyday, it’s named rakuzen. But everytime I see that word, the first word to pop into my mind is yakuza. Evil huh?! Back to my cashmere mafia story).

Cast of Cashmere Mafia.

The sad thing about this series is that it has been axed. >__<
It’s about 4 ladies (knowing each other for 15 years). All of them are high position holders in big companies. They were called the Cashmere Mafia since their business school days. They protect each other and discuss their personal ups and downs. Actually cashmere mafia is for the boys’ club. These power ladies have complicated life. Let me intro you the four characters:

- Mia Mason (Lucy Liu): Publisher at Barnstead Media.
She got the job after competiting with her fiancé played by Tom Everett Scott as Jack Cutting for the same post. Her fiancé broke off their engagement after knowing that she got the job. Oh yeah, who ever doesn’t get that position will get the boot. So he was booted out. I guess not all guys can take that outcome. Oh oh oh..her one of her boyfriend was a neurosurgeon. DAMN GOOD LOOKING FOR AN ASIAN!!! Hahahaha. Played by Jack Yang.

- Zoe Burden (Frances O’Connor): Former Managing Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at Gorham Sutter.
This lady before she quit her job, she is quite a control freak. She is married to a super nice guy, Eric Burden played by Julian Ovenden (good looking) and have two kids. Husband works as an architect. Before he got a job, he was a househusband. ^__^ Her co-worker really knows how to take credit for whatever things she did. That got her so mad and quit the job as she was supposed to get the position of Vice chairman. I guess many companies still caters to men.

-Juliet Draper (Miranda Otto): COO of Stanton Hall Hotels & resorts.
She looks quite like an ice queen. Her husband is playboy. She knows it but she ignores all of them till her husband, Davis Draper (Peter Hermann) was fooling with Cilla Grey (Noelle Beck) which she don’t like her at all. Her good friends told her the news before she went to receive an award for her hard work. And before she went up stage, she told her husband and said “I’m going to choose one of your friend to be my lover.” To pay back for what her husband had done. HEBAT!! Well she did, but not really an affair. She couldn’t do it. But she almost did it without the sex part. She divorced her husband and her useless husband actually ask her to pay his lawyer fee too. TOTAL USELESS!

- Caitlin Dowd (Bonnie Somerville): Senior VP for marketing at Lily Parrish Cosmetics.
She has quite a haywire relationship. From straight to bi to straight again. Yeah..weird lady! When she doesn’t tell the truth, a pimple will pop up her face. Won’t that be good to detect liars? But it doesn’t work for me la. Hahhaha.

Watched from episode 1-7. And it was axed. SAD! Nice series. Really love how the ladies hold such high positions. All so successful but not in relationship. To be a power lady, I guess you can’t have the best of everything.

If you have the chance to watch this series, do try to download it. Much better than Desperate Housewives.

Again mohney

I did some calculating for the whole cost of a bracelet I’m doing for my sister. I was pretty surprised that it cost so much. I wonder how am I going to put extra for my workmanship. How ar? Hope she will be okie with it. >__<

Oh..any of you guys can give any suggestion where to buy affordable beads in bulk or any wholesalers? I can’t afford to get expensive ones for long. So please do tell me if you know any. Thanks a lot!

Mohney mohney mohney!

Well people..

Any suggestions to earn extra mohney? Must be legal yeah! Do give me some suggestion.

By the way I'm doing costume jewellery but kind of hanging in the middle. Doing that too need mohney to buy the stuufs. Not cheap stuffs.

Hmmm...so do help! Don't tell me to do data entry stuffs yeah! HELP!!

Places & mohney!

What I meant was: MONEY! To visit places, you need money, right?
RIGHT!!

I so wish to travel around Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak! Many beautiful islands to discover and not to forget food, food & FOOD!! And the amazing sceneries from the kampong sites to beautiful beaches and night light of cities. In order to capture all the moments, camera will be the best tool. But what if you don’t have a camera? You need to get one which means you need mohney!! I know you probably would suggest to get a cheap camera but I don’t want to get a low end camera. I want a camera that can serve me for a long time. And I like canon or Nikon brand camera!

I was reading a blog yesterday. This blogger was travelling around the Asian countries. She went to Laos, Bangkok, Vietnam, Pulau Sipadan and probably many more places! She is not even working!! She is still a student but she is doing part time jobs. She uses her own mohney to travel! And she bag-pack. That’s a good way for tight budget travelers. I dare not bag-pack alone. She does it alone! BRAVE dudette! Oh yah…her Pulau Sipadan pictures are gorgeous!! I SO WANT TO GO THERE!!! The water is super clear! And I want to participate in Vietnam CNY! You know why? I heard that their CNY celebration is for a week and many activities are done! Unlike here..pretty quiet. I want to join Water festival in Thailand! Damn! So many things! I need to save my mohney! And I don’t care, by this year I’m going to Pulau Redang!! I’m going …I’m GOING!!

Okie okie..don’t get to emo! Hehehehe. Well, the person I was mentioning is Nicole. She is in my list of bloggers. Check out her blog.

Mother earth.

Did you know yesterday was Earth Day? On the 22th April 2008. I only knew that when I was listening to the radio.
Did you all do anything to make it worth while? Like not using the car but uses the public transport? Or try to use less paper?
I didn’t do much about anything. I’m always using the public transport. I recycle my papers in the office. That’s the only thing that I do. Oh another thing, you know the tissue papers have a few layers right? I always pull out the layers and not use everything in a go. Usually I’ll pass the extra and give it to my sister whenever we are out for dinner or lunch. Hehehe. A way of using less tissue. The best would be using handkerchief. Besides, I’m not a hanky type of girl. :)
Well, it’s really sad to see when people uses tissue paper like it’s free. Especially when you go to public toilets. I wonder how many rolls of papers are wasted to dry hands. And and…when air con is turn on to the full blast in office. Hello!! This is Malaysia..not UK. We don’t need freezing cold environment. Wasting electricity. SIGH!!
The list goes on and on. People please try to save. Not for you now but for our own future!

Relay.2.

Oops..bout the relay thingy. The next stop after Malaysia was Jakarta. They didn't have the relay for open public but they invited certain people to the special event. The running was done in a studium. Run five laps..the torch was off to Australia. Don't ask me what's the next stop. I don't have any idea.

Relay

22/4/08

The torch was lit on the 24th March 2008 in Greece by Maria Nafpliotou. Do you all know who am I referring to? What torch?

Well yesterday, the torch reached Malaysia. That’s the biggest hint! Don’t tell me you still can’t guess it. This is the second time Malaysia participated in the torch relay after 28 years of the BIG game! Ok ok…it’s the Olympic Games. I’m not counting the very first time this game started but from 1896. It’s every four years. This year the big game will be held in Beijing, China. China will be the 3rd country in Asian to hold this game. First is Japan then South Korea.

Actually Olympic has started way back in 776BC or some scholar said it was between 884BC & 704BC. Did you know that this game was for young men only? Bias huh? Well they have a reason..that’s because they compete in nude. WOAH!! Hehehe… It’s a celebration of the achievements of human body. Winners don’t get gold medal or $$$ but rewarded with crown of olive leaves back in the BC era. Olive branch meant sign of hope and peace. If they kept with the same winning price, do you think people will still participate in the Games? I wonder. Probably some will but I think majority will not. Since many people don’t see olive branch as a sign of hope and peace but a bundle of leaves that will wilt in a few days. RIGHT?!

And another did you know. Did you know that torch bearing was not included in the ancient Olympic Games? And same goes with the interconnecting rings. Only introduced in the modern Games. The 5 ring (white, red, blue, green, yellow & black) actually represent the each nation colour, that’s because at least some nation have one of the colour. See..so not bias at all. Hahahaha. The relay actually was intro in 1936. French & English is the official language of the Games. And and and there will be 28 sports to be running in the Beijing Olympic Games. Well you can actually find all this info in Wiki. Hehehe. I’m just stating the interesting fact of did you know.

I was really amazed that there were so many people participating in KL torch relay. SO MANY CHINESE from China came over to be part of it. I wonder if everyone knew bout this torch relay in KL. And I meant the Malaysians. You know how Malaysians can be pretty oblivious with such great event happening. KLCC was the last destination of the torch relay. I don’t know who are the runners that participated for Malaysia relay. The next stop for the torch to be is in Thailand. Right? Hehehe.

That’s all for my torch thingy for you all.

Feeling left out...

Having this feeling that I'm out of the current world but not exactly out of the circle. I do know what is happening around from e-news. It's just that, my routine makes me feel very left out. To work, work..sometimes read the e-news, back home, dinner, tv or books and sleep. Back to the same thing all over again. Maybe I'm having this feeling because my life doesn't have much excitement. I want to do something insane and dangerous. I want to feel the adrenaline rush.

I should make a point to do things. Right now, I'm having a new task to accomplish. My sis request me to do her 30 bracelets for her friends as a wedding gift. A token of appreciation to her bride maids. HEHEHE!! So happy!!

End of MArch

It's nearing the end of March. Damn fast. Two weeks back..don't really remember what happened during the weekdays except during the weekends. My sista..eldest..got married! Finally!! >__<>

My dad held a dinner for my sista in Muar. Not on the wedding day itself but a week earlier before the wedding day. Something that is usually done in the Chinese custom. But now, I don't think many people is doing it because it takes a lot of time and effort to do it. It was the first wedding for my family so...my dad needs to invite his FRIENDS to get back all his ang pows that he have so far given to all his friend's daugthers or sons wedding. But I don't think he got back his duit la...maybe for the dinner but not the alcohol coverage. The wedding was very chinese-sy la..hahaha..the typical chinese dinner.

Then last weekend...was THE DAY!! Was prettty exciting! We, the sisters...actually my 2nd sista came up with the plan how to "torture" the groom before he was able to step into the house to get his bride. But we were pretty nice people and didn't play over the line..well coz my granny was there..if we did that..sure kena tembak from her. The best part of the whole wedding was the arrival of the groom with his heng tai. Horns blaring from a distance before they reach our place and we the girl's side, are not suppose to greet them immediately and we are not allowed to see the arrival of the cars. The other best part was the tea ceremony....as in we the sisters giving our respect to him. Each of us gave him bowls (ranging from the biggest to the smallest from my 2nd sis to my youngest brother) of desserts soup. Wasn't that bad la..hahaha..

That day..we had quite a number of photographers..my younger sis, my 2nd sister, my younger bro with his tiny mobile phone, my cousin and my sister's personal photographer. My granny got quite angry when we snapped her picture but we told her that..nope we are not taking your picture la Ah Ma..we are taking the bride and groom. >__<>

After that, off we go to the groom's home in BP. The car I sat in..gosh..the driver..damn slow man!!!! THere were 4 cars including the bride's car plus 2 cars from my sister's side. The journey seem pretty long when we could actually arive BP in 40 minutes but they took 1 hr to reach. SLOW right!!!
Then..there is the tea ceremony again..then makan makan..then we balik Muar. Dinner was in BP. Restaurant setting is nice..food is okie...evertyhing was smooth. Seems simple but it was fun. Never attended a Chinese wedding before and it has been a great experience.
Can't wait for July. My 2nd sis is getting hitched. And her wedding is in KL!! Yeah..dont need to rush back to Muar. Her ROM will be in April..That's double happiness in my family!

Being a bad bad person

Have not blog for a LONG time. Feels like a zillion year.

Been busy with work. Everytime I get back from work..I super exhausted. But today, I did something really bad. I took MC. Suppose to feel sick. *wink wink* Hope you all get what I mean. hahaha.. ^___^

Facing the pc all day long is boring. I tend to fall asleep after reading all those tiny prints on the screen. BORING!!

Is there any job that doesn't require much pc facing and involves loads of people interaction and it must be sales? I don't think I love or like my job that much.

Later I'll be accompanying my sister to a bridal shop! YEah...been a long time since I see her...It was like after CNY till now.

Yeah another thing, if you have the chance, watch Vantage Point. Nice show. Worth watching. Jumper is so-so only.

Before I forget, i wanna say: CONGRATS to my sis for getting a scholarship to study her Masters in UK!! WOAH!!!

Dong dong dong chiang!!

Okie..guess you all know what's my blog gonna be for today.

Been super busy with lots of stuffs..okie..not exactly that busy.

Last 2 weekends ago, been busy doing pineapple tarts and oat biscuits for my family members with the help of my sister. Friday evening right after work..off to Giant to get pineapples..back to my sis's place to prepare the pineapple jam. We started at 10pm..finished by 1am. We were super tired from stirring the jam in order to get the right colour. -__-. Not an easy job. Next morning, we started doing the tarts at 10am right till 6pm non stop. We made 5 batches of pineapple tarts. The final output were not too bad. I hope my QC will approve our skills. By the way, my QC is my granny. She have been making it for like 20 years. I salute her!! After the tarts, we continued with oat cookies. We even break for an hour to catch a tv series. hehehe.. >__< We ended up making the cookies till 2am. INSANE!

I got to get my butt of the chair now. Suppose to clean up my house. See you all around.

Have a GREAT CHINESE NEW YEAR!
May the year of RAT brings tremendous luck and happiness!

Didi is in dilemma

What is with the name didi?

My younger sis and bro call me by the name Didi. At this moment, Didi is in dilemma.

Why is Didi in dilemma? It's all because of my job. Again...back to the topic about my job. Boring right? Can't help it. I'm sure not everyone is able to get their dream job and dread about their current job.

I'm in this job for only 3 weeks. I still haven't grow to like it yet. The first two weeks were a bit stressful. I had to read up about my current job products and had to take exams for it. I never felt so stress taking exam till last two weeks. I still have a few more exams to get through. I thought I was done with exams..but no. NO!NO! >_<

The stressful part was that I had to pass on my first attempt with 80%. DAMN STRESS MAN! I did go for training and my trainer told me that I was allowed to have open book exam..but unfortunately my deputy manager (DM) told me that I was not allowed to do that!! Damn! I had to scrap through the bloody exam. DM said that at this current place I'm working, the working environment is very different from the other place..that was her excuse. SIGH! Was suppose to have an exam tomorrow but lucky it was postponed to next monday.

At my new job, I feel very lonely. Always facing the pc or my DM or other colleagues. But most of the time it is the PC. Going to be short sighted soon. I'm the youngest among my team member and most of the time, they converse in Cantonese. I don't speak that dialect but could understand it. So most of the time during lunch hour, I'm always very quiet if I joined them. Feel so left out.

Yesterday, I was supposed to have lunch alone because my DMs had lunch appointment. My DM asked if I'm alright with that. Why would I not be alright? Then, DM changed her mind and asked me to come along. At first I thought she was going out with her bf but no..it was with 2 other guys from another department in the same building. I've met one of the guys. Somehow, I was pretty quiet during lunch eventhough they were conversing in English but I somehow felt very left out. They were talking about their job current situation. My DM knew whats the whole story about and she was talking along. The older guy..the one I knew, he was being very polite, always trying to change topic so that I don't feel left out but still it didn't really worked.

Is it normal to feel down and feeling like this? It's only my 3rd week in this job. What should I do? Give it 3 months? I don't feel happy or dreadful to go to work. Just that I never had the looking forwardness to go to job. It is just another routine for me. It is something like I have to do.

Scream!

Yeah..thats what I really feel like doing.

SCREAM!!!! ARGHHHHH!!!!
Who do you think you are to call me and start screaming at me? Have you not thought how it will affect my emotions that moment? All I did was swallow back my anger. I was boiling like mad! TOTALLY RUIN my day. I was doing my revision during working hour. THAT one call made me PISSED OFF!

Later, when I get backed home...I received another called! After a short chat, my anger was back again and this time, I almost cried. I swallowed back my tears. I realised that I'm pretty good in swallowing stuffs! But I couldn't find any solution to release back my anger and frustration!

How would you react when someone told you that your job sucks? Saying that job doesn't require any degree qualification. Saying that any Tom, Dick and Harry can just apply for that job. Deep down, I'm already contemplating if I would ever stay for long in this company. After getting such remarks, I blasted off by saying that I'm happy with my job and I don't care what you say! ARGHHHHHH!!!

Rainy day..not my day!

It was raining when I went to get my lunch. Wanted to go to Times Square but then I had to cancel my plan.

So I went to the back lane of my office building to get lunch. It was raining quite heavyly. My jeans were starting to get wet..only the bottom leg rim. Had to walk slowly to get to the stalls. The road was quite full with running water.

(okie..the splash is not that high..but i still got wet!)

Finally I got to the a malay stall to buy my food...then came a STUPID BLOODY WHITE CAR and splashes at me!!!! I was wet..but bottom half of my jeans was wet!! I was cursing at the STUPID BRAINLESS ARSEHOLE!! Can't the driver go slower! BLOODY driver don't have any courtesy at all!! Lucky the behind drivers didn't drive that fast...if not..i'll be super wet!

(okie..the splash is not that high..but i still got wet!)

Now I'm feeling cold..especially my legs.DUMB driver!! ARGHHH!! >_<>

Feeling whirly a bit

I'm feeling a bit giddy. Not like everything is spinning but I can feel that my head is a bit light. Don't know the reason. Felt this way after I got back from a movie.

Watched Game Plan acted by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. The show was okie. Not too bad. Some part was pretty touching. The little girl, Peyton, she is very adorable. Her acting was pretty good.
AND I LOVE the BULLDOG!! He is sooooo cute!! ^___^ I just love the way the little doggie walks and snore while sleeping. Awwww!!!
Yeah...there is this an event I really wish to attend. It's a salsa workshop. Not really a workshop..but it is more of dance party cum workshop. It's known as "SalsaJay Open Day". It's at Shangrila Hotel...right opposite Prudential Tower. I so want to go but a bit afraid. Need someone to accompany me. >_<. I need to shake some booty! >_<

Here is the song and the clip: Happy Ending

The video clip is this song is quite child like.

Love or not to love?

Love.

It's a four letter word with BIG action.

It can be family, sibling, friendship, animal and lover love.

How would u react when a person tells you that he or she wants to love you but hope nothing in return from you at all?

-love is in the air-

-Even after all this time The Sun never says to the Earth,
You owe me.
Look what happens with a Love like that,
It lights the whole sky.
-Hafize-Shirazi's The Gift.

Our purpose in life, wherever we are, is to love whoever there is to love
- Kurt Vaught

I received these messages from my friend. It's pretty interesting.

Okay back to giving their love as a lover to you but not hoping anything in return.
I feel awkward to get such statement when someone tells me that. I don't know what to do. How could you love a person you barely know but saying that statement of wanting to love you? Is it possible? For me..i think there isn't such a thing. I'm skeptical about that...maybe if you were to say that you like me...i still can accept that sentence...but...

Oh gosh..that statement is making my mind a bit haywired now. Crap! I'm hoping to face the new year with a good time. I feel weird. Thats how im feeling right now.. WEIRD! I don't mean sound insensitive when I said that i feel weird. I gave a reply saying that: I can't do anything if you want to love me.

What should I do?
