Beadsy topsy

It's the weekend. And I'm busy busy doing bracelets (indicates the colourfulness of my bracelets) I've promised my sister. Right now I've done 30...out of 250. It's like only 1/7 of the amount. Die! Dateline on 29 July. I think. Hehehehe.

Must keep up the pace to complete it by end of this month..I mean end of June. Will post up the picture when I get a camera from someone.

Got to do my work now!

Rufff rufff

My sister's new pet...ain't he adorable?

Grrrr...no stealing my ball!

That's little JD. So adorable. My vocab is limited for the moment. "sigh"

Ruufff...

Yesterday my sister messaged me: I’m having a baby boy.

I was liked: HUH? I replied her: What do you mean?

Got her reply: I’ll name him JD.

I was liked super HUH!!?? The first thought that jumped into my mind was that was pregnant.

I sent back: I don’t understand. Are you pregnant? After much long wait and no reply from her…I decided to buzz her.

I almost kicked her when I heard her real answer.

“I’m having a dog.” I was: WHAT THE F***!!

Ain't I adorable?

Yup she is getting a puppy, golden retriever. Only 7 weeks old. I want to see the little adorable doggy.

Cikgu cikgu!

Today is Teacher’s Day!

Faster grab your mobile phone to text or call to wish your primary, secondary, college, form 6, matriculation & uni teachers.

Any teacher you really dislike or adore?

This morning as I was listening to Flyfm, there was this caller saying that he failed F5 5 times just to stay back in that school. The reason was that his school have many HOT teachers! As far as I can remember, my primary, secondary or F6 teachers were pretty biasa sahaja. :P

And there was this caller, he called his teacher to make a confession. A confession saying she have a great leg!! Another caller called to tell that he had a crush on his English teacher. His English teacher was being great and gave him extra class in her house. In the end, he married his English teacher’s daughter.

Do you all have any interesting stories?

I was once a teacher’s pet during my kindergarten and primary 1 & 2. She knew my mommy. My mommy’s friend. Her name is Puan Lee Kah Hoi. ( Crap..I don’t remember her name…but pronunciation is something like that.)

There is another teacher we gave a nickname: ET. I guess anyone from the same school as me during the primary will know him. Hehehe. And he married a teacher from the same school too. Her name is BBQ. Ehehehe. We are so mean. Giving names to teachers. But I think it’s pretty mild. :P

Well I just want to wish all teachers: HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY!

Prince Caspian.

I’m Prince Caspian!

Wait! It should be: I’m Queen Hera! Muahahaha!

I’m a little crazy today. Feeling happy. Probably it is due to my monthly hay wired period.

Prince Caspian will be out tomorrow! Got invitation from my friend last week to watch the premier but I had turn down his offer. It was premiered yesterday night in Midvaley. I wonder how the movie was. Usually fantasy movie based from a book doesn’t capture all the imagination we have in our own mind. That goes same to Harry Potter. I felt it was a let down for the 1st movie till the 4th movie. Narnia first movie wasn’t that great either. But at least the characters played by the kids are much better than HP. They aren’t that stiff. >__<

I think everyone would agree to me with this: LOTR movie were amazing! Peter Jackson did an amazing job! ^___^

HOOTTTT!!

Oooh ..did I mention that the guy playing the character Prince Caspian is SUPER HOT!!!

My friend just message me: Som naang lou.

It’s good luck in Khmer.

Khmer people is an ethnic group for majority of Cambodians. It’s also the official language of Cambodia. It’s where you can find the longest river in SEA. Mekong river. Right? Her brother went back packing there. Cool! He went to Angkor Wat. Entrance fee is in USD. Pretty costly! But I guess it’s worth the mohney! Me want to go there too!

So it will be som naang lou to me!

The difference

My friend told me these funny differentiation she read from the paper.

The difference between man & woman.

When a woman:

Is thin: She is called slim.

Is fat: She is called voluptuous.

Is tall: She is called model.

Is short: She is called petite.

When a man:

Is thin: He is called skinny.

Is fat: He is called a pig.

Is tall: He is called bamboo.

Is short: He is called rat. ( The rat part I don't get it why, it's suppose to be in Chinese. The article she read.)

On leave.

I'M ON LEAVE!!!

hehehehe.... Don't be jealous.

i'm going out to get my stuffs..meaning bye bye mohney!

Dang...

But it's for the goodness. What am i crapping about? no idea. Adios people!

Enjoy working!!!

There were 133 participants, 7 dropout on the first day itself. 2 males & 5 females. There were like 5 pregnant ladies in the assessment too. One lady is due in two weeks. SCARY!!!

As usual, my bahasa Melayu was not very good. Fluency was bad too. >__< Feeling more down already. DANG!

I'm feeling like a wilted flower. No energy. Lifeless.

Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is this 9th May 2008. A Sunday. It always fall on the 2nd week of Sunday.

Doing anything special for your mom or grandmother or aunties? All of them are female. Hehehe.

It’s the day where we as the child honour our mothers.
Did you know that Mother’s Day is like celebrated the whole year? It is really like the whole year. Different countries have different dates and with certain date have a special meaning for celebrating Mother’s Day.

Some believe that this occasion started off from a custom of mother worship in ancient Greece.

Did you know that, UK & Ireland Mother’s Day is known as Mothering Sunday? Woah…Didn't know that at all. It falls on fourth Sunday of Lent (3 weeks before Easter Sunday). Believed to originate from 16th century Christian practice of visiting church annually. It’s the day where most mothers reunite with their children on that day.

Well for US, they celebrates Mother’s Day on the 2nd Sunday in May. I guess we followed them. For them, it was actually a call to unite woman against war. Okie..I don’t think we knew bout that. Did you know that in parts of US, it is traditional act to plant tomatoes outdoor after Mother’s Day and not before? Why tomato? In 1914, President Woodrow Wilson declared 1st national Mother’s day to honour the mother’s whose sons had died in war. That’s a sad thing. 9 years after that, it became commercialize. Then I guess that is how Mother’s day kind of slide of the track from the main purpose.

In most East Asia, Mother’s day is superly commercialized straight from USA.
Mother’s Day have been celebrated as early as in 2nd Sunday in February for Norway and as late as in 22nd December for Indonesia. Cool huh?

And and did you know that, Mongolia is the only country that celebrates Mother’s day twice a year?

But I guess we in Msia do celebrate Mother’s Day to really honour and remember for what our moms or grandmas or aunts have done for us.

Here I want to wish all mothers, grandmothers and aunts who have done so much for their children a very HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! Have a great one! All children, don’t forget to thank your mother for what they have done for you all these years.

Positivity

Ooo…there is another thing which I was pretty happy (that time when it happened). My sister have approved my bracelet pricing which is pretty affordable and I’ll be going crazy doing them in 2 months. I probably will be blinded by July. Hahahaha…that’s a bit exaggerating though. Wait.. wait…I haven’t include another different pattern of bracelet I promise her. >__< Need to get all my stocks before I can do. Hmmm…need a driver. Any volunteer?

I’m ending this nonsense with:
To increase your effectiveness, make you emotions subordinate to your commitments
- Brian Koslow.

I don’t think it’s going to end yet. I totally agree with the phrase. For me I interpret this phrase as: You need to like and enjoy what you do to increase your effectiveness towards your commitments. Like and enjoy is like emotions. Well not all the time you are able to enjoy or like your commitments. Commitment comes in many different packages. It could be your job, responsibilities as a colleague, parent, child, sibling, friend, loans and load more.

You get what I mean. Let it be anger, sadness or happiness, it somehow can make commitment be accomplished. Sometimes with anger, you need to channel it to something positive…would that be a positive anger?...is there such thing as positive anger?

Well never mind, putting all the anger to achieving your commitment can be done. For example, when I get angry at certain person for belittling me, I will prove to them I can do something great.

See..channeling the negative anger to a positive one. We just need to stay positive no matter how tough and sucky life can be.

Friday..get here faster.

Double 5. That’s the date I was mentioning about. Nothing special la.

I’m super duper nervous for this coming Fri. I’ll be going for 3 days of assessment. And there will be forum, debating, public speaking and health fitness. The indoor activities will be done mostly in Bahasa Melayu. Got some info from my friend that have attended the assessment. She told me about the participates are from different age and working position. Some as old as 30+ to fresh grads. Some have gone through this assessment for like 2 to I don’t know how many times. It seems to be a favorite job for a lot of people.

I hope I don’t embarrass myself of everyone. >__< Specially the indoor activities.

Pop there goes my heart.

That sounds familiar right?

Pop there goes my heart.

If you have watched 'Music & Lyrics', then you will know what I'm talking about. The song title is 'Pop'. Dah lari topic.

My eyes are going to pop out soon! Keep staring at the pc none stop. Hmmm..I wonder have my eye sight power increased. So the title of my post should be pop there goes my eye. >____<

Hey anyone knows how much do they pay for a show presenter that works in Spore Zoo?
They don’t need to face they pc always. They can interact with animals and humans too. Interesting huh? Hehehe.
