Stuck with each other in confession of a shopaholic.

Well well... most girls love shopping. There are some exceptional ones. I'm kind of the type that sometimes get stuck with shopping when the mood and ka-ching are there side by side.

When the book: The confession of shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella was to be made into movie, I was a bit skeptical. I've read the book very long ago. I love the whole series of the confession of a shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella. Watched the trailer and had the 'hmmm moment', meaning-' This movie might be worth watching'. This movie was released in March 2009.

Most of the time when a movie is made based on a fiction book, it is quite a disappointment. One of it is: The Devil Wears Prada. I was hoping the movie will be as funny as the book but unfortunately it didn't reach my expectation. Back to the movie: The confession of a shopaholic, I've learnt my lesson not to set a high bar for it, afraid that it's another failure movie based on a book. However, I was wrong, the movie was very funny, I love the way Isla Fisher played Rebecca Bloomwood. Luke Brandon could be more cute but Hugh Darcy is not too bad. ^__^

It's not a must watch movie. It's a weekend type of movie. A chill-laxing type of movie. Go get the DVD if you don't have anything better to do during this weekend.

There are quite a number of good songs in this movie too. One of it is: Stuck with each other (click on it to watch the video) by Shontelle ft Akon. This song is played at the very end of the movie. A very sweet song. Goes out to all lovebirds.

Mamma Mia!

Yup that's the new movie staring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth.
It's a musical movie. If you don't like singing from the begining till the end of the movie, I SERIOUSLY advice you not to watch it at ALL!! But if you are a SUPER DUPER fan of ABBA, maybe you will love the show or maybe dislike it. The movie plays almost all the famous songs from ABBA. I REALLY enjoyed the movie. LOVE all ABBA songs. All the actors had to sing. Even Pierce Brosnan!! His voice was DEEP. I thought his voice was sexyly husky! ^__^ Meryl Streep singing was pretty good and her acting was great! I love the part were she was trying to stop herself frm peaking at her 3 ex boyfriends frm the top of the roof. She was singing 'Mamma Mia.'
And Amanda really have a good voice. Her singing for 'I have a dream' was really amazing. Basically i love the movie, love the songs and the acting! ooh..and there is another song 'Take a chance' sang by Julie Walters was funny.

Don't put your hopes to high as you may or may not like it at all.

Working this weekend. SIGH! No paintball game. SIGH!

Since it is the weekend, watch WALL E! Wall e is soooo ADORABLE! As for Eve…she is so cool. I want a WALL E! I watched the movie. Got a free merchandise. A jigsaw puzzle. WALL E is so loving and funny. But the bottom line of the story is about saving mother earth. Make sure you all catch the movie. U won’t regret watching.

Back to work. Been OT-ing this whole week. Tomorrow work again!

Prince Caspian.

I’m Prince Caspian!

Wait! It should be: I’m Queen Hera! Muahahaha!

I’m a little crazy today. Feeling happy. Probably it is due to my monthly hay wired period.

Prince Caspian will be out tomorrow! Got invitation from my friend last week to watch the premier but I had turn down his offer. It was premiered yesterday night in Midvaley. I wonder how the movie was. Usually fantasy movie based from a book doesn’t capture all the imagination we have in our own mind. That goes same to Harry Potter. I felt it was a let down for the 1st movie till the 4th movie. Narnia first movie wasn’t that great either. But at least the characters played by the kids are much better than HP. They aren’t that stiff. >__<

I think everyone would agree to me with this: LOTR movie were amazing! Peter Jackson did an amazing job! ^___^

Khmer people is an ethnic group for majority of Cambodians. It’s also the official language of Cambodia. It’s where you can find the longest river in SEA. Mekong river. Right? Her brother went back packing there. Cool! He went to Angkor Wat. Entrance fee is in USD. Pretty costly! But I guess it’s worth the mohney! Me want to go there too!

Being a bad bad person

Have not blog for a LONG time. Feels like a zillion year.

Been busy with work. Everytime I get back from work..I super exhausted. But today, I did something really bad. I took MC. Suppose to feel sick. *wink wink* Hope you all get what I mean. hahaha.. ^___^

Facing the pc all day long is boring. I tend to fall asleep after reading all those tiny prints on the screen. BORING!!

Is there any job that doesn't require much pc facing and involves loads of people interaction and it must be sales? I don't think I love or like my job that much.

Later I'll be accompanying my sister to a bridal shop! YEah...been a long time since I see her...It was like after CNY till now.

Yeah another thing, if you have the chance, watch Vantage Point. Nice show. Worth watching. Jumper is so-so only.

Before I forget, i wanna say: CONGRATS to my sis for getting a scholarship to study her Masters in UK!! WOAH!!!

Feeling whirly a bit

I'm feeling a bit giddy. Not like everything is spinning but I can feel that my head is a bit light. Don't know the reason. Felt this way after I got back from a movie.

Watched Game Plan acted by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. The show was okie. Not too bad. Some part was pretty touching. The little girl, Peyton, she is very adorable. Her acting was pretty good.
AND I LOVE the BULLDOG!! He is sooooo cute!! ^___^ I just love the way the little doggie walks and snore while sleeping. Awwww!!!
Yeah...there is this an event I really wish to attend. It's a salsa workshop. Not really a workshop..but it is more of dance party cum workshop. It's known as "SalsaJay Open Day". It's at Shangrila Hotel...right opposite Prudential Tower. I so want to go but a bit afraid. Need someone to accompany me. >_<. I need to shake some booty! >_<
